WASHINGTON, DC — Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP announced that it has relocated in Washington, DC, to new space at 1717 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, occupying the building's top floor. The new office includes 30 window offices, along with a rooftop terrace offering views of the Washington Monument and the Old Executive Office Building. More than 50 attorneys and staff have made the move.

Whiteford has added veteran litigator and trial lawyer John M. Erbach as a Partner in its Richmond office, strengthening the firm’s intellectual property and commercial litigation capabilities in Virginia.

Virginia Lawyers Weekly has honored two Whiteford attorneys for its 2026 "Leader in Law" and "Up and Coming Lawyer" awards. Partner Spencer M. Cox has been named a "Leader in the Law," and partner Robert N. Drewry has been named an "Up and Coming Lawyer."
